Microscopes are very important in the field of science and technology especially for their studies and researches, like when they discovered that there is a lot different world , the microscopic world of bacteria’s, viruses and fungi’s.
A microscope has different types and along with these different types comes different uses. Microscope can be categorized to low powered and high powered microscope. A low power microscope enables you to see small object because of its 10x to 20x magnification while a high powered microscope can facilitate viewing of not only small things but also microscopic things. A compound microscope is also known as a high power microscope, intended for seeing microscopic things in high magnifications. The magnification range of a conventional high power microscope is from 40x up about 1000x, with that much magnification power, it is very straining to the eye if you view the specimen using only one eye, so they made the high power binocular microscope. A binocular microscope is made with double eyepieces to provide the same vision on both of the eyes, in doing so; it would reduce the eyestrain and muscle lethargy from viewing the specimen with only one eye. The high power binocular microscope is also the most well known arrangement of a microscope.
The high power microscope is commonly used for examining and obtaining information from thin slide preparations of specimens or even from a cut of a large object or even from packed down objects. The slide preparations used for the high power binocular microscope is elucidated from underneath and also these slide preparations must be see through thin or transparent enough to work on the microscope. Although a high power binocular microscope can be a bit pricey than the common monocular compound microscope, these types of microscope are more commonly used by professionals and not by amateurs due to cost constraints. Although a high power microscope can magnify a certain part of a big image but they can be used to view a whole object.
